Getting a problem to find devices on Windows?

Liwi is so easy to use and handy as an application that even my 12-year-old sister is using it to transfer her assignment files to her tablet these days. Yesterday as she was trying to transfer her summer vacation team assignment on to the tablet, however, she faced a problem. There was nothing wrong with the application but it seemed that her Windows desktop could not detect her Android tablet.

We at first thought that it might be because as a kid, she she was not being able to operate the computer properly but on a closer look at the problem, we charted out a solution to it. Follow these steps if you face a similar issue.

1. Check if Windows network discovery is on in your computer.

2. Close the Liwi App from system tray and task bar.

3. Open Liwi App in all devices (computer and tablet/phone) in foreground.

After this, to discover the devices on WiFi, all devices should be connected to the same WiFi network and the application should be open in the foreground on both devices. It should automatically discover the other device in 10–15 seconds.

So, the next time you face any glitch of this sort, you do not have to surf numerous random webpages on the internet. Instead, you can just open this blog and find the lucid steps.
